How Do You Say Face?

With an ever growing beauty industry, we find ourselves with plenty of options to create a skincare regimen just for us. We can stick to a morning and evening much the same or stray off the path and offer our skin different paths both am & pm.

It has taken me years to discover brands that really work for my skin. I am sure we have all been there-fads, friends, reviews, great marketing. It can be a long journey to finding your fit.

My biggest challenge was finding something that worked well with combination skin. So many products say for ALL SKIN TYPES but I found this to be false in my experience. It also did not help that I was on a tight budget and could only afford drug store products.

Many products would help with only part of my face while making the other parts worse. I would be dry on my cheeks, lips, jowels, temples, and under eyes but it would work for my T-zone. Or it would break out my jawline and cheeks and forehead. I just could not find a winning combination.

I found that investing in a few higher end products can make all the difference! The drug store products that I use if out of my current regimen are Cetaphil, Cerave, and Almay.

My AM Routine:

Cleanse: #iSClinical Cleansing Complex with a #Foreo Luna

Serum: iS Clinical #GeneXC

Eye Cream: #Eminence Neroli Eye Cream

Moisturizer & Primer: #HeritageStore Rosewater & Glycerin Spray (my 11 month old daughter loves to get a little spritz herself every morning)

Sunscreen: #Obagi Matte Sunshield

My PM Routine:

Cleanse: Same as AM Routine

Serum: iS Clinical #hydracool serum

Moisturizer: #lamer soft cream & #costabrazil anti-aging face oil

Other Additions:

Exfoliating: #DrLancer The Polish - 2-3 times per week & Obagi #Retinol 0.5

Treatments: Monthly Facial, Quarterly Micro-needling/Laser Treatment

After Treatment Additions: #Pevonia Stem Cell Intense Cream for added nightly Moisturizer, iS Clinical Sheald

Each person's skincare journey is different. Some have found their golden ticket, while others are still in search for the perfect regimen. Let me hear about your skincare journey-what is your routine? what do you still struggle with? What has been your staple products? I want to hear your #lipsmack !
