Foaming Face Wash - Looking Passed the Marketing & Dissecting the Ingredients
Let's start off with this is not a stab at Kylie or her #hussle. I love to see people with ideas and then making them a reality. We cannot all be so lucky to be in our 20s and a billionaire. She's a #bossbabe. Her line sold out in record time, so her marketing and name are working for her. . .go get'em!
It is just that-her name and marketing- that caught my eye, so I am breaking down her Foaming Face Wash to shed light on a fairly typical ingredient list seen in other skincare lines found at your Sephora or Ulta Beauty Stores. Now to the science. . .

Sodium Hyaluronate - Skin-Conditioning Agent - Miscellaneous; HUMECTANT; SKIN CONDITIONING “Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring polysaccharide found in connective tissues such as cartilage.” Usually noted as derived from animal sources and with the claim of being Vegan, I would like to know where they get this from.
Phenoxyethanol – Preservative
Next time you want results, look on the back of the bottle and the price tag. Like many other skincare cleansers, it is packed with soap, water, and fillers. The 'special' ingredients are not pronounce enough to give you plump anything or feed your skin enough vitamins. For $24 and 3 Fl oz. you too can have glorified soap water. Have you tried her line? I would love to hear your #lipsmack - comment below!
