A 1946 book by chronicling his experiences as an Auschwitz concentration camp inmate during World War II, and describing his psychotherapeutic method (later to be named logotherapy), which involved identifying a purpose in life to feel positively about, and then immersively imagining that outcome.
This book is not your typical World War II read. It dives deeper into the psyche of what was happening among the people and how that directly impacted the will to survive. It has many thought provoking statements and amazing insight at a time of pure evil. This is one of my top favorites!
